Awesome episode. :-) I agree with the StarTrek comments, but I also quite like it anyway. :-) Really looking forward to the commentary on Popular, that show definitely didn't get enough attention while it was running.

ReplyDeleteGay characters in canon Trek are kinda hard to find. The most we've gotten in canon is probably on DS9 though, with the Dax/Kahn kiss as mentioned, but also with all the mirror universe shenanigans with the Intendant.
You have to read Susan Wright's "Dark Mirror" books which are also set in the mirror universe. And it ain't just subtext. Especially if you're a Seven of Nine fan.
Eh, my bad, I meant Susan wright's "Dark Passions" books. Bloody great reads.
